How do you know he has parvo? Has he been tested by the vet? If he does have it he'll probably need to stay in the hospital so he can stay on IV fluids to keep from getting dehydrated. They can also give him medication for nausea and antibiotics to prevent other infections. Sometimes you can nurse a puppy through parvo, but sometimes they don't make it. If he hasn't been tested, then he may not have parvo. He still needs to go to the vet though so they can find out what is wrong and hopefully treat that. Best of luck for the poor little guy.

Have you gone to the vet? I had three puppies that contacted parvo. They all survived. Feed him chicken broth, make him eat it. Dump it down his throat. They also need IV fluids, and shots of penicillin. If you are low on money the vet might show you how to do the shots and Iv.If he has not eaten in three days chances are he will not make it, I am sorry about this. This is hard to say but you should probably have him put to sleep because it sounds like he is to far gone. The chicken broth and IV fluids are crucial to his survival. Dehydration is what is kills them. You have to make them take the broth and the IV. I had scheduled shots for my puppies on a saturday and they came down with parvo on wensday. The vet showed me how to give the IV and even though it was nerve racking especially when they are sick, . I did it and within a couple of days they were on there way to getting well. You also need to clean every thing and I mean every thing with bleach and also spray the lawn with bleach this is the only thing that kills the virus. Please dont let him die this way, have him put to sleep if he is this far gone. You also should not bring in any other dogs for at least 6 months. I am very sorry I know it is very hard to watch a puppy be sick with this disease, I will keep you in my prayers. If you need more advice you can contact me at ladybirdmorgan@yahoo.com

Like the individual said before, parvo can't be cured, only treated...and that is usually an extensive thing if your dog survives. It depends on how quick you start treatments so I'd suggest on taking your puppy to the vet as soon as possible. If he doesn't drink water and vomits and has diarrhea, dehydration can set in causing death also.

I had a dog who had parvo. I took him to the vet and they gave him a shot. He wouldn't eat but the vet told me to keep him hydrated. I had to get a turkey baster and give him pedialite. It's a drink for toddlers who have diarrhea. I gave him a turkey baster full every hour or so. I also took him back to the vet about 3 times for another shot. It was just a waiting game with him. Also you need to disinfect the yard. I forget how. I know I poured bleach all over my concrete walkway but I forget what I did to the grass. If you dog sleeps on any bedding you need bleach of get rid of it. Talk to the vet for more info on that. I hope you dog makes a full recovery.

I got a puppy once that ended up having parvo. A local breeder/vet told me to feed him raw eggs and pedialite (sp?)
It was too late for him but good luck with your puppy.

You need to get to a vet. Your dog will die if you don't.
