How do I know if the guy really likes me? I am twenty five years old and does not go out much. I am not good

at guessing whether the guy likes me or not. In the past I mistakingly thought that the guys liked me, but it turned out that he liked one of my friends and I was a little bit hurt. This time, I liked one of the guys in my bussiness class. He is kind of shy. We did talk to each other, but not very often because I am a little shy too...Plus, we can't talk to each other in class... However, I have taken a step and I have asked him if he would like to go to eat lunch with me tomorrow and he said Yes... At this lunch time, I want to guess if he likes me or not. Are there signs that tell the guy likes me as a "girlfriend" not as a "normal friend". My question is: "When a guy likes a girl, what does he usually do or say?".

If you are both shy, this is going to be long, slow, and painful. As compared to other people's painful - but shorter.

It's really too soon to tell. This is your first meeting outside of class. If you can smile, keep eye contact, and make body contact (brushing his shoulder should do for starters) it should signal to him that YOU are interested.

How he responds should, hopefully tell you how he feels better than any words.
