What range would be healthy?

Range is anywhere between 100-120 lbs for someone 5'1. 120's pushing it a little, and 100 is a little underweight, but both are still healthy.

I got this from the Blue Cross/Blue Shield website:
5'1" Preferred 90-152 Standard 153-187
That's a LOT different from the normal weight charts The women's army weight chart allows 100 to 137....More than that, it's where do you feel best? I'm 5'5", as a teenager, I was 96, and average/thin. Now I'm 196 and FAT. My ideal in my 20's was around 115. My ideal now, in my 40's, would be about 140.....so, it also depends on your age. You want to be strong and healthy, not thin and weak, and not flabby, right? So, healthwise, looking at the BCBS chart, you'd want to be just below the 1/2 mark, right? So, there's 62 lbs to play with there, from 90 to 152, halfway would be 120, so, if you are 30ish or below, I'd think you'd be healthiest and look best between 105 and 120, so, the compromise would be 115. If you are over 35 or so, you'll look gaunt and ill if you are too thin, so I'd use the same averaging toward the upward part of the scale....so 120 to 152, healthier on the lower end, 120 to 135, preferably 125 or so....which would put you somewhere int he middle of the military chart....is that a round about way of saying 115 to 125? LOL....good luck!

Any weight between about 100 to 130 pounds would give a girlt hat height a healthy body mass index.

First of all, NO ONE, of any heigh should pay ANY attention to their weight. Rather what we need to do is to measure around your waist every couple of weeks and see if you are reducing your body fat percentage, or increasing it.
If you have too much, off course you should be trying to reduce it. If you have too little, leave it be, and keep the good shape.
Our weight is composed mostly of bones, muscle, blood, organs etc..The body fat is a small percentage of all that.
No one wants to be weak, with fragile bones do they?
That is why it is nonsense to talk about reducing weight.

JUST REDUCE BODY FAT!! Two different animals all together.

The measure of your health is the strength of your immune system. This is easely evaluated just by checking how many colds and flus do you get in a season. Healthy bodies don't catch most of the bugs that float around (or if they catch them, they fight them back and win in a couple of days, pronto!).

If you need to strenght your immune system, start exercising and eating better. Along with forgeting about your weight!
Deal? Go for it girl!
