I know that wine has many components that people can have reactions to, but I am wondering what people actually feel after a small (a glass or a part of a glass) amount of wine. Does anyone else feel swelling in their lymph nodes in their neck--like they are coming down with a cold? Or does anyone suffer from post-nasal drip after a glass of wine?

If you are particularly sensitive to it, you could have a stuffy nose or a headache. I've never heard of swelling lymph nodes (I suppose it's possible), but the post-nasal drip is probably related to the stuffy nose thing.

I've also heard that different types of wine have different levels of sulfides (that's what most people are allergic to) so you might try different types, varieties and brands to see if you can find one that doesn't produce the symptoms. Ask an expert at the wine store.
