Navy seals or green berets, who is the best special operations group in the world?

I was a green beret, and hate to admit it, but the Seals have some extra training in other specialized fields, and are truely sea, air, and land. The Green Berets are very specialized and right up there with them, but in some clandestine ops, the seals have a leg up, especially in a marine type of infiltration, and in some types of under water demo. They are both outstanding and are the best in thier branches. If you are looking for another outfit which selects the best, look at Marine Recon, and of course Delta force, which is a combination of service branches.

I've got a cousin who is a SEAL. I've also known people who were Green Berets; I'd say the SEALs are better, but it's a question of what you want to do.

Marine Corps Delta... But I'm partial to the USMC... Between Army and Navy... I'd have to say the SEALS.

I have to say the seals, I was aggressed by them in a training exercises, they are capable of some pretty jaw dropping stuff. I was more than impressed! Go seals.

Navy Seals. They cover all the bases. Glad to have them.

It depends on the mission, both are trained differently but I would say the seals are more versitile, then you have to ask seals vs. delta force.

i was an airborne ranger.

still, you have to give credit when credit is due.

but either way, both special ops units are very elite in their class.
