okay i'm almost 15 and i've been dating a guy who's 20 for almost a month. he is the sweetest guy i have ever met and so respectful about the fact that i haven't had sex yet. i'm very mature for my age just because of what i've been though. he is completely amazing has done nothing wrong but i guess i'm still wondering does the age difference matter?

Mature or not, you could still land him in jail. If you care about him and really are mature, wait until you are legal.

yes at your age "age" is a huge factor if you were older then it would be ok do relize there are laws in place for that reason and depending on what state you live in if you 2 did have sex consetual or not it would be stacitory rape and he would go to jail. you are 14 soon to be 15 reality you dont need a full time bf neway worry about that later date guys your own age and when i mean that between 14-16

It wouldn't matter if you were say 30 and he was 36, or 20 and he was 26 but for you to be 14 and him be 20 then yes it does matter. He is far too old for you when you are so young.

When I was 17 I dated a guy that was 28. It was the same situation and 6 months later I ended up pregnant. He accused me of not being faithful to him and that the baby was not his. Everyone's different though, so whatever you do hold on to the only thing you have..... Being a Virgin!!!

being mature for your age dosnt have anything to do with it
who cares if hes sweet?
just because he done nothing wrong.. oh wait! he has! dating you
its illegal, so unless you two will be strict friends and no physical contact, not even a kiss on the cheek unless your 18...

Absolutley not!!! i dont know how many times i could possibly say this but age doesn't matter (unless it's like a 20 year diffrence) especcially 5 years... your love is worth a lot so dont worry about a small thing such as age.. all that matters is that you love each other and he treats your right!

because he's so much older he's probably a lot more mature there could be some difficulties with that. but, either way, no one can tell you whether or not love is ok, no matter who it's with. so, if you feel it's right then go ahead just be careful.

well you kind of have to wonder why a 20 year old isn't finding ANOTHER 20 year old to date.
and why he is dating a girl who isn't 15 yet.
i know when you're together you really don't notice the age difference, but it's still a little unsettling.

Yes it definetely does matter.
He's much too old for you girl.Does he know how old you are? He'd better find out before he ends up in jail. What he's doing is raping a minor.
Find someone your own age before you both get into big trouble.And.........where are your parents in all of this?
Better start using your head.

There's nothing wrong with that.
"Legally" there is but...
I have a friend who is 16 and her boyfriend is 21. They've been dating for about 3 years.
Age is nothing but a number. It makes no difference.
