I know the island is claimed by both Canada and Denmark.

As a Canadian, I'd say this is ours but what are other opinions on this subject ?

Danes claim it only because it is so close to their country

i imagine both countries ought to easily comply with some chop up-custody association. Canada receives Hans Island weekdays, and Denmark receives it on the weekends and over the summer season vacation journeys. Christmas and different vacation journeys we are able to exercising consultation as 2 lifelike aspect headed countries. Then Canada and Denmark ought to bypass get a cheap inn room and performance one very last romp, you know, for old circumstances sake.

As a Canadian, you have to say it's yours, just as Dane needs to claim it as theirs! It's a cute little dispute - it's never going to get resolved; each side says that they have historical claim to it, and neither side is going to put any resources into the fight, so it really doesn't matter.
