I live in the U.S. and have been fortunate to see much of Western and Eastern Europe as well as most of the Carribean.

My favorite countries to travel to have been: Ireland, France and Aruba.

I rarely visit the same place twice, but would return to the three above.

It all depends on who you're with.

I love the Orient. I've been to Japan , Okinawa, China's main land and Hong Cong , Vietnam , Thailand but I left my heart in the Philippines.

My greatest memory was in McDonald's in Manila.

There were long lines. A counter girl took me by the arm and opened a new line just for me. Extremely Embarrassed , I looked at the people on line and they applauded and urged me on.

What a wonderful way to treat a foreigner .

I wish we could do it here, but how could we identify a foreigner in this melting pot, the good old USA

I've traveled all over the world and while I've enjoyed my stays in every country I've visited I wouldn't want to live in any country except the good old USA. While it might not be perfect it'll do until something better comes along.
