Take off your makeup before you go to bed,
Wash your face in the morning and night,
After warm showers use your desired acne facial wash with cold water, that way your pores close up with the medicine inside.
If that doesn't help try proactive. It really is the miracle product.

I've never tried any home remedies, I just use Proactiv, which works for me.
One thing is to wash your face regularly (but not too much or too vigorously, that will only lead to more)
And most importantly, even though I know it's the hardest, don't squeeze them. Even though some of the puss comes out, some of it also goes back into your skin and spreads to create new pimples, which is why there are more when you wake up.
Also, make sure your hair is not really greasy when you go to bed and keep you pillow case clean.
Hope that helps!

I had the same problem!! I did efentually find some things that worked. Honestly it all depends on how much money you are willing to spend. If you desperate then you might want to try Zeno! It's amazing. I just got it and I love it! If you dont like it you can return it within 30 days! I also have this amazing face mask that you can use as a spot treatment as well. Its very acne, pimples, and it shrinks pores. It's called Queen Helenes. Here is the website where you can get it http://www.drugstore.com/products/prod.a...
I would seriously get it! It's inexpensive too!
Another trick is put a hot rag on your face for a few minutes then splash very cold water on your face. Then put rubbing alcohol on the problem areas. You could even try the toothpaste trick. Put a dab of white not gel toothpaste on a pimple and it should shrink. It worked for me! Dont give up there is something that will work!
Hope this helped!
Good Luck!

Honestly you can't expect overnight results. The best way is to have a consistent routine. Cleanse your face with soap or a gentle cleanser like Cetaphil. Apply a moisturizer like Clinque's. Then use something for acne. I use Neutrogena. I dont know what it's called but it comes in a packet. A cleanser, day cream and a night cream. [Don't use the cleanser esp. if you have sensitive skin!] It took about 6 months to get really great results. But it was well worth it. I rarely get any pimples and my acne scars are dissapearing. I just use Colgate toothpaste on a pimple overnight and the pimple is gone.

These are not cures, but they will help reduce the amount of pimples that you get. Always wash your face before you go to bed, your skin heals itself while you sleep. Change your pillow case regularly. Try not to touch your face with your hands a lot and DON'T squeeze. I know that it is hard to resist popping (I have a hard time resisting) but popping will make your problem much worse. Try not to wear a lot of makeup when you work out because your pores will clog worse with the makeup and the sweat (again I know its hard not to want to cover up those disgusting zits while in public). One last piece of advice. A lot of people think that if you have acne you need to be rough with your skin. I was under that belief for years. I have come under a knew train of thought - I have sensitive skin and have to be very gentle with my skin. I hope this helps.

i too used to have acne but i, no lie, changed my eating habits. i'm not kidding, and no i'm not selling anything. lol. but really, eating a lot of fruits w/ honey helps and drinking hella a lot of water. unfortunately, i didn't, well still don't, have the money to be buying proactive or other products so i did the whole home remedy thing. and i'm so happy that i don't have pimples anymore so i'm telling you this, change your diet and what you put on your face or hair. try not using so much gel and hairspray, it clogs the pores. dont try drying the zits away because it only does that, dries your skin and then your skin makes more oils thus making more zits. don't stress, i know when i stress i'm more likely to get a pimple on my freakin nose. so eat and be healthy. seriously. i went to this site and it helped what i thought was helpless skin... ^.^

On my face I have almost the same problem u do. But sometimes if you sweat a lot u can get large bumps that eventually form a head and get all nasty. All I can tell u to do is clean your face and rince is really well and do it before u go to bed and when u wake up because of the grease your face produces. Hope I helped it did for me!

You have gotten some great advice thus far.
Find a regime and stick to it. AM and PM
First before trying it or tomorrow take a warm wash cloth and make it extra warm in the microwave and set it on your face before you wash it. It should bring some dirt to the surface.
Find a great mask to use once a week.
And twice a week exfoliate -
Do not use any products with mineral oil (it hardens your skin)
And use mineral powder foundation (better for your skin).
If you can't afford to spend $ on a great regime like Arbonne or Proactiv (arbonne has a vitamin you take it works your inside out for acne)!
Settle on Nutragena - and stick to it. Your face may break out before it settles down.

Right now my skin is perfectly clear, for the first time in 3 years. It's been about 9 weeks and all my acne is gone. It is such a great feeling to wake up with clear skin.

well first you need to keep your skin clean at all times, which means try cleaning it 3 times a day and use a mild astringent like a witch hazel. and use a product with benzoyl like clearisil. you must be consistent. Have you ever heard of proactive that might work for you. If all fails, see a dermatologist.
