i try and meditate. I do this by counting to ten with no thoughts in my head. That gets me to sleep. And the best way to deal with stress is to talk to someone about your troubles (i'm a good listener)

Burn lavender oil in a oil burner about an hour before you're ready for bed. Don;t do anything strenuous or play video games etc before bed either - they stimulate the mind.

Try some chamomile tea and if all else fails try valarium tablets, they are natural and you can buy them from pharmacy's and health food shops.

Try reading in bed for a while with a dull light on. Make sure you are comfortable.

Don't ask the doctor for Valium. It's horrible stuff.

I've recently had some issues with this. These are the ways that I deal with stress:
Go somewhere pretty and take a walk, talk to friends or family, do deep breathing exercises (count 5 -breathe in, count 2 -hold, count 7-breathe out), or do some physical exercise.

Limit caffeine, alcohol, and junk foods (although you may want all 3).

Take care of yourself - remember you matter!

Stress can suck big time and often it seems like nothing will work.

I find things I enjoy doing more of, at night to sleep I plug in a podcast that I am really interested in or an audiobook from itunes and lay down. It puts me to sleep and I feel rested.

Reading the Bible and talking to God in my room with some scented candles (or insenses) going and like a fan blowing in the room is relaxing for me. I don't know if your into God or anything but it helps me.

Melatonin helps me fall asleep. I buy it at GNC and it really isn't too expensive.

Although it can be a pain, aerobic exercise is really good at relieving stress.
