What are the typical credit score numbers that I need for:

1. A Discover card?
2. A low end or classic Visa card?
3. A year or 6 months "same as cash" offer at Best Buy or Circuit City?

Do you know a website that shows these scores with the types of credit that can be attained?

Thanks.

A credit rating of around 625 or better. They are all credit card offers through whatever bank is sponsoring their cards. Some retail credit banks are very picky, and as a result you will see credit limits and approvals change from store to store.

You might check out the following link.

It is a very good database that shows what creditor pulled what credit reporting agency what the scores were at the time, if the person was approved or not and many times what baddies the person had at the time of approval/denial.
