I had my daughter at 32 weeks, she was 4 lbs, fully developed, had to stay in the hospital to learn to eat on her own. While in there, I saw some amazing babies in the NICU, these babies were born at around 24 weeks, were 10 oz to 1lb. They were perfect little people, with personalities and wonderful features.
The nurses took such good care of these tiny babies, they all got to go home eventually, and are 3 years old now, each of them are doing well. They tend to be a little immature for their true age, but gestational age is right on.
Please know that if your baby is born this early, there is a chance that the doctors and nurses can take good care of your baby.

I had my baby at 28 weeks and while I was in the NICU there were a few 24 week babies. Some were fine and some were not. It depends on alot. The birth weight, how developed they are and so on...
