Use whatever you want! I currently wear my fifteen year anniversary ring only.

For many young couples this is a viable option to save on the insanity of the budget woes. As a minister, I've seen this on many occations.
The bride simply removes the engagement ring and puts it in a ring box or on a ring pillow just prior to the wedding.
If budget is an issue, Wal-Mart, JC Penneys or any other major "discount" type store who has a fairly good jewlery dept can offer low budget weddings bands for under a hundred dollars each. Another option would be to check your local Pawn Shops as well. Often times you can find rings at very realistic prices available tho the sizes may be a problem.

It's your choice if you want to use your engagement ring as your wedding band also. I have seen many ppl only wear their wedding band and not their engagement ring, there is nothing wrong with that. I have seen a few engagement ring that wouldnt look right if it was worn with another ring. Good Luck on your wedding. God Bless.

I think that that's smart. I mean why do you need and engagement ring and a wedding ring anyway. Is it really important to have a ring that represents only that one minute when he proposed. I don't think so. Plus you save alot of money that you can use to start building your lives together. you should talk to your partner about it and make sure that you are on the same page.

It it your choice but I would personally use the engagement ring for the wedding too. It will save you money and wy is it that you need to different rings that really just represent one thing?

I think that's a great idea and a very sensible one. I hope your fiancee appreciates your way of thinking since many women want the best rings money can buy.
I have a friend who recently told me, "I would want my engagement ring to be perfect." Um, wouldn't she want to put more thought into her relationship than her ring?

I would suggest buying a simple gold band. They are not expensive at all. You could wear it along with the engagement ring and wear it when you don't want to wear your expensive diamond.

You can do that. I just find out that the wedding bands are not that expensive. I thought I will have to spend 1000 for each one but I find some every afforable and with free engraving so shop around.

No. You are going to want to have a wedding band. Department stores have plain gold bands for pretty cheap.

I'm planning on doing just that. I have short fingers and just couldn't find a set that I liked that didn't overwhelm my hand. Whatever makes you happy is what you should do. Don't worry about what other people think.
Good Luck!

There is no right or wrong. However, for weddings, its a wedding band thus it would be good if you have one. Besides, it isn't that expensive so should be affordable.
