i used to cut if any of you know what that means and once or twice ok even more i tried to comite sucide i get scared i really dont want to be like this its just really hard i used to think that people with deppresion like people in the luny bine were weird and used to feel as if they were just really stupid and cant appreshiate they have but now i know i have been the stupid one i am not in the luny bine yet close to it i just hope every one out there understands that its not our fault for some of us it is but we are and can be normal i need help and i feel like an idiot telling everyone this on the internet but i have no one else to tell help me please advise anything my parents and family have also been spoiling me like if they dont i will exploed i wont but how do i tell them to stop i really want to change help me please i am in tears..

i am already taking anti-deppresionts and i always bottle up my feeling with everyone plus i don't like talking my deppresion really feel as if its just somthing that just creeps up somtimes i can't control it its like all my life bottling everything up i lost it but i can't stop it i really want to talk but no matter what i can't so after bottling up everything and having one of my i fell to deep down the hole moments i noticed my scissers i don't really know what happend after that but it felt good i did it more and more its like when i cut myself a small bit of everything i bottled up disepered but along with it came pain but that small moment and that small released anger,fusteration and sadness made the pain worth it i still somtimes yearn for a pair of scissors or a knife somthing sharp but i run for the restroom or a place to be alone and grab my wrist and tell myself to stop after a long while i feel ok or what seems ok i really am trying to change and it is hard

I am also a depressant. I have done the cutting thing and attempted suicide more then one time. Depression is not the best thing to have especially if you are a women. We already go through all these emotions to begin with and to top it off we then feel like a complete waste of space. If you ever need someone to talk to just get a hold of me. I know what it feels like to just want someone to talk to. Or even someone to listen well you cry. Your not crazy and their are lots of us out their in your boat. Of course you're upset, here are some U.K. numbers, and a www site, these people may be able to help you talk through these things, If you are a teenager, you should really know you are not alone, teenage years play havoc with your body/mind, everything is changing, and your hormones cause real trouble. You just need some talking therapy to start with, and try and get an appointment with a sympathetic Dr.And you should be getting follow up care from the people who gave you this diagnosis( say it was a real Dr, not just the people on here!)

P.S. Just for now, try and find a film/TV show that makes you laugh to watch, and say to yourself, this is just a bad few hours,it will change back again, just hang in there until it does.

If you could make an appt to see these doctors, they are wonderful. They help people with severe problems, suicidal, etc. They live in India but they come to the US several times a year and do "a tour" across the country. They are medical doctors, Ayurvedic pulse masters, and also Siddha Masters (which means they have talents and gifts that we have never even seen here in the US)!! They give you powerful herbs to bring your body and mind back into balance. They are totally safe and effective.
In the meantime, just have a heart-to-heart talk with your parents; pour your heart out to them, that will be a relief to you, and a good first step.... big hug...

You don't have to stay depressed. Don't think like that, for real sweetheart ! You'll be ok, If you tell yourself your mad, you'll be mad, the same with depression. If you tell yourself your gonna be sad, then you'll feel that way, but do whatever to get your mind off how your feeling. Don't ever sink into that emotion, when you start getting upset, find something that can help you, like your favorite song or whatever.

Prayer & Meditation ( like thinking deeply about God, or something ) would really help too, but yeaa ... Just try to stay strong, and don't dwell on negative thoughts, they never produce anything good. Try to remember the best moments in your life, and If you haven't had any good times, then start now by walking around town, and MOST IMPORTANTLY ... You have to LOVE yourself, even If nobody else does. I hope you feel better. *smiles* =)

Get yourself to a doctor, and get a prescription for anti-depressants. There is nothing to be ashamed of, many people (including me) take them, and they are a total lifesaver.
Tell your parents that you feel you are clinically depressed and you would like to see a doctor about it. They will probably be relieved that that's all it is. There is a good chance one of them is on anti-depressants too!!! (My hubby and I both are and about 2/3 of the people I know are)
You will feel MUCH, MUCH better soon, but just be advised sometimes it takes awhile to find the right drug or the right strength so don't get discouraged, OK?

First of all you have to understand what you have is a disease. Depression is considered a disease. you can't control it. its not your fault. Its also common for teenage girls to cut themselves. its a way for them to let stress out. When your body is hurt it releases endorphins it helps with the pain. There are lots of sights on the intrenet where you can meet kids like yourself. I used to have the same problem. It is getting much better. I have depression. I take meds for it and its making it easier. See your doctor. You are not supid and you are not an idiot. there are so many people out there like you! Talk to your parents. tell them how you are feeling. I know it may seem scary to let them know how you feel inside but they love you and they are going to always love you. Let them know so they can help.

ok first off relax and take a deep breath, all I can suggest is to make sure your family and friends know what your going through and I'm sure they will all be there for you. I know that for me when I get depressed and feel alone I think of things that I love or people that care about me and give them a call. I also listen to music that inspires me to hold on and keep going, because there are always people worse off and no matter how hard things look you have to hold on and keep going. Theres a saying I like and am going to get tattoo'd on me and its "when your going through hell, don't stop, keep going" (meaning that if you don't stop in the middle of it you'll get through it). the song that inspires me is "hold on" by good charolette. thats all I can suggest and I hope it helps, but trust in your friends and family, and most of all trust in "yourself".

have you tried just flat out saying it?

plus not everyone who is crazy is in the looney bin plus once i heard that if you can look in a mirror and say to yourself im not crazy then odds are youre not because its the crazy ones you dont know there crazy....
