No, i don't think so. If you're both comfortable with having a child then do it. My dad is 61, he had another child when he was 57. I was shocked, but it all turned out for the best. now i have another brother. I would say do what you feel in your heart.

Of course it's not unrealistic. There are plenty of women in the world. When you run into one that you like maybe it will happen. Don't rush it though. If you want a kid right now and can't wait then maybe you should think about adoption.

No it is not unrealistic men and women are having children
very late in life these days...actually men have always been able to have children at old age now women are catching up.
