Well, I don't eat breakfast, and i eat a little for lunch, but then for a snack I eat a LOT of stuff. And i go outside and run around a lot and practice soccer a lot. But i don't think im losing any weight or losing any calories i eat. I need to lose weight. My brothers are always calling me FAT names. They eat more than me and they are skinny. I know, they have a high metabolism, but it really hurts and maybe i should go outside more, have no snacks, I don't know. I'm very confused. Does lemon juice work? What does it do? HELP PLEASE!!!!

well ther just being brothers. this may sound crazy but i would suggest buying some of the spiciest hot sauce you can think of and before you eat sweets i would take a big sip. it will trick the body into not liking sweets i know it works with chocolate but im not sure with snack foods . it also helps speed up matabolisim

Firstly you need to eat breakfast to jump start your metabolism. I don't understand why this myth of not eating meals makes you lose weight. It does not. You are running around and playing sports and that is great. Of course if you exercise it burns calories. Don't listen to your brothers. Brothers often say stuff just to hurt you, it's their nature lol. As far as lemon juice it does nothing special to help you lose weight. There is nothing wrong with snacks as long as it is nutritious, stick to fruit or vegetables and it will be no problem at all :)

First of all, you need to realize that you are beautiful just the way you are, no matter what anyone says.
Now, if you want to lose weight, you need to burn more calories than you consume. Do exercize that really jacks-up your heart rate. It is better to do cardio exercize in the morning on an empty stomach. Your body has a tendency to go to your stomach first and burn whatever carbs are there. If there are not carbs in your stomach, it will have to go to stored fat cells and burn its fuel there.
Lifting weights every other day is great. The more in shape your muscle mass is, the higher your metabolism will be and you will burn more calories throughout the day.
Drink nothing but water. Cut out bread, sweets and junk food.
Do not be fooled by diet fads. Think about it: do people look at thin models and think to themselves, "Wow, she must drink a lot of Diet Coke." Of course not, it's ridiculous. Low-Fat This and Low-Carb That is nothing but a marketing gimick. My recommendations on diet is only eat food that is on the perimeter of the supermarket. All of the stuff along the aisles is packaged garbage. Basically, all you need to do is eat a variety of fruits and vegetables and lean meat. Eat well and do not starve yourself. People who go on starvation diets do not realize that their metabolisms go into shock and hold-on to as much fat as it can in order to ration energy.
The reason a lot of diets don't work is that people feel miss their favorite foods. I recommend that you be a good little boy or girl Mon. through Sat. and eat whatever you want on Sunday. Believe it or not, this regimen works because it convinces your body that you are not starving.
If your brothers pick on you, tell them you don't need to be degraded, you need support.

lemon juice of the mornings mixed in water,,,real lemon juice, helps clean your liver i think. but you should really try to eat breakfast. like maybe an egg a piece of toast and some fruit. that way maybe when you go during the day you won't feel as hungry or tired. also you can have snacks but only the right kind. like carrots and apples and things like that.

Start out by eating breakfast, even just a piece of fruit or a small bowl of cereal. Start doing cardio, then lift weights, then more cardio after. I have been lifting for about six months, and my PT suggested doing cardio before and after to maximize my heart rate, but not heavy cardio. Stretch before exercising if you don't already. Find foods rich in fiber and low in fat, drink lots of water to stay hydrated and you'll be ripped soon enough. Good Luck!

you pig out on junk food in the afternoon
thats why you arent losing weight
give it a try ok =you will be surprised

lol, same here, you actually eats more in your snack than in your important meals, i play tennis, and it wouldn't lose any more pounds, you can eat A LOT if you want, you just need to practice and exercise a little bit more.......
