I think you pretty much said it. I would take it farther and incude Islam. They say the worship one God however they beleive in Angels and in The devil. They might have picked one as more powerfull , But any immortal creature with supernatural powers like the devil or angels could be considered lesser Gods just like the Hindus and the Christians.
None of them are like apples to oranges they are more like different colored apples. The same human brain but with different cultural and tribal references. To each say the exact same thing.

There are many Christians who do not believe in a 3-person Godhead. True Christians are strict monotheists. Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are not three people, but different ways God makes himself known to us.

Depends on which denomination and what christian you are talking too. But if they believe in the trinity they are polytheist and if they don't then they are monotheist.

the three aspects of The Holy Trinity are not 3 gods!!!!! it's the same God in 3 different ways! the Trinity refers to something else...people have 3 bodies: the material body, the energetic body(also called aura), and the spiritual body! the Trinity is the presence of God in all these 3 bodies!!! Hindus outright believe in more than one god, whether other gods have aspects or not, there is more than one. The Christian Holy Trinity is very difficult to understand but is still just one, however, expressed in three ways.
There are not three gods, just one. Though the analogy is poor, think of it as one person with multiple personalities.

If you include angels (and in the case of Catholics, saints) then Christians can certainly be categorised as polytheists.
I'm sure most, if not all, Christians would argue that, and I look forward to hearing the explanations.
