i accedentally shave my mole in my lips.. is it dangerous? they said it is cancerous.. how true it is? because one of my friend also accindetally scratch her mole at his foot and after 3 months she died because of cancer... your opinions is great help for me. thank you.

Scratching or shaving off a mole will not cause cancer. The only way to tell is to go to your dermatologist and have the remains of the mole removed and sent to the lab to get tested. Don't worry......it's probably fine. If it is trying to scab over, apply neosporin or cortaid on it. If it is bleeding, apply a small band-aid. If you are truly worried, call your doctor.

Shaving a mole off is not dangerous if you stop the bleeding. As for the cancer, who said it was?
Best thing is see your doctor or ER and have the detached mole biopsied and analyzed.

if you're not sure about it go to a doctor. when i was younger there was a saying that if you cut a mole you would lose 8 pints of blood...crazy aint it? its as silly as thinking you,re at risk. you're friend was just unfortunate nothing to do with the mole. take it easy, no worries

Did a dr tell you it is cancerous? If yes, are you going to have it removed? I don't think that shaving it will do anything more than make it bleed, but if it is cancerous, you should have it removed.

why do you make up stories? if it was true that your mole was cancerous they would have scheduled you for a removal treatment inmediately, and nobody dies suddenly from cancer just for scratching a cancerous mole you idiot!
