Me and my girlfriend, whoo i love with all my heart, got into 2 fights this week. We've been together a year and a bit and i know she hates it when we fight and that it really bothers me. Seeing as it was my fault i thought i should make it up. I wrote her a really sweet, long letter saying basically that shes perfect and that i want to be the one whos always there for her, the one who makes her smile when nothing can. Its on nice paper and in a very cute envelope. I also included "heart coupons" i cut out and wrote little things she loves on them...such as a massage, a movie night with a movie of her choice ect. I really want to make her happy and make up for the fights...will this do it or am i just being corny?

NO. It seems really sweet. Obviously you really are sorry for the fights and hopefully she will see that. As long as you are sincere and truly mean what you are saying then you should have no problem. Don't just say it because you know that's what she wants to hear. Cos you will only end up fighting again. Good Luck with it and feel free to throw a massage coupon my way ;) hehe

It may be corny but it's really sweet and the heart coupons thing definitely show that you spent time and effort thinking about how to make amends and the whole thing was a labour of love. I'm sure she'll love the effort you put into the whole thing.

I think that is so sweet. But I am a romantic at heart. I use to love getting flowers or just a phone call saying "I'm sorry", any woman would love to get things like that.

That sounds really sweet and I think she will love it. I know I would. As long as you make up with her about the fight and admit you were wrong everything should be okay! Good luck to you!

Nope! You're not! You're just being true to yourself. There's nothing wrong about what you've done. You just did the right thing.Yet,you need to do more than that.Give her something that pleases her a lot.I believe you know those stuff already.Don't give up on her.God bless.

i dont think its corny at all...i do the same thing, it shows that you are showing your love from your heart. creating how you feel onto paper expresses and shows the other person that you can take the time it takes to show your emotions and let them know just how special they are and how much they truely mean to you. my opinion === keep it up ...it takes quite a man to write and create his emotions than to just give flowers and candy....ITS NOT CORNY AT ALL, ITS ABSOLUTLY ROMANTIC IN MY EYES.. :)

You're in the right direction. Yes, ladies need to be pampered sometimes. Good job and keep it up not just for this time but occassionally.
