I am a really big sports guy. I love to play, and watch all sports. And girls always love that part of me, but then I am really shy. So I can't talk to them because I am so shy. So I need some help. What would u do?

Be confident, and super respectful and sweet but with out coming off as a push-over. Treat women so well there's no way a girl would not want to go out with you. This must be done is a genuine way of course, otherwise you'll come off as a player, which most women find a total turn-off, unless they are one too, and then it's game on. I would not suggest playing those games. Just be a nice and cool guy and try to be confident in yourself - try to find girls that like sports so that you have something to talk about that you can be confident about. Just don't seem cocky. women love a guy with a great sense of humor who treats them great and is appreciative and that has the right balance of humility and self-confidence. If you can do this you'll have no problem.

Well first of all I'm just wondering what your love of sports has anything to do with being shy....but I digress.
Don't take offense to this, but if sometimes people who are shy are a little more self-centered because they believe everyone is focusing on them and what they do.. Maybe, to relieve your shyness, you should just try asking girls questions about themselves, like their likes/dislikes, where they grew up. It makes them feel good that you're getting to know them and leaves you out of the hot seat of answering their questions and thinking of the right thing to say or do (for now at least).

I would step back and take a look at myself. The only reason that you are shy is because you are too concerned with what others think about you instead of knowing what you want from yourself. You should think about what and who you are and make decisions based on that. You don't try to impress girls by being a certain type of person. To deal with other people you have to be who you are and if they don't like that then you just move along. Relationships are between two people. You can't have one if aren't even letting your real self be a part of it.

there is nothing wrong with being shy. I kind of dig that in a guy. And i think it is cool when a guy likes sports. Because guys who don't r kinda geeky no offense them guys r pretty cool to hang around. Just be ur self, there will be some day when you find the right girl the girl that likes you for you. I'm really shy too and it's kind of hard, yet comforting to talk to someone who is so shy (but it's comforting bcause they are in the same situation as you)...I think that you should just try to break out of your shell by asking questions...that always breaks the ice and it doesn't really give you a chance to sound stupid. I like sporty guys (they have the best bodies, and usually great looks!)

Girls like guys who will treat them right and won't do them wrong. It is true that most girls like an athletic side too and if you have a problem being shy, start at the bottom and work your way up. Start with people who itimidate you the least, then eventually you will have enough confidence to talk to anyone. This is what I did. Good luck with all!!

Try not too be so shy, girls like someone that is going to hold conversation and being into sports is ok but try not too be so into it, im a girl and i like a lot of attention from my man

you say girls like the sports part about you. well that's a good conversation starter. See what their interested in. If they like sports too then u both share the same interest. the rest shud b history...

be confident but not too confident. just learn to love yourself and others will follow suit. being positive will help. just find the good in everything, especially yourself. but be careful you dont become cocky cuz thats worse than shy. and yeah, be a nice person. care about others.

Girls should like a guy for their personality...if your shy, and they like shy, then they like you. If they like sports, and you like them, you can watch them together.
But really, girls should like a guy for his personality...not his looks.
Besides, shy guys are the better ones! ;)
