but then i fell in love with somebody younger who actually cared, but everytime i see the older guy it messes my mind up and by the way the younger guy is so caring and we really get along but the older guy can be an angel 1 min then a total jerk the next- i really cannot stop falling in love with him . what should i do????

never love someone more than he loves you.... so my bet is stick with the younger guy that is stable and so caring towards you...the older guy seems like a doctor Jeckle and Mr Hide... cant count on him...

I would personally stick with the "older guy".
How is he a jerk? What does he do?
If it's nothing too bad, you could maybe talk to him about it.
If you really love a person, you would stick with them through the ups and downs and help them through the "downs".
Although the younger guy could be caring, it may just be a facade. From the looks of it, you haven't known him that long.
You should just stay friends with the younger guy and continue to date the older guy.

Why are girls attracted to jerks? I never could understand that. Stay with the younger guy and when you think about the older guy, just tell yourself that you deserve better.

sounds like your really ready to move on and get out of a troubled relationship..if the younger guy seems more fun and that you get along so great than i think you no what todo...the choice is yours and when your ready you will know,, i wish you the best of luck dont waste your time in the old relationship it sounds like you want more so its time to move on remember life is short time to enjoy it!!
