I've been with a guy for about 8 months and in the beginning I acted stupid because I was afraid he would judge me like the guys I tried dating before. I finally got tired of acting because it was too much work to lie so I admitted it to him that I was ACTING stupid. Smart women should represent because there are too many women who don't respect themselves and make us all look bad. Anyway,our relationship has gotten much better since I admitted my immaturity.
As for what a guys want, it depends on the guy and his self-esteem. Guys with low self-esteem go for girls with low self-esteem. Guys with high self-esteem go for girls with high and low self-esteem. LOL

I love smart women but personally I like women who hide their smarts and will reveal it slowly... someone who's smart but acts stupid can get on your nerves occasionally and can be a deal breaker.

I would think that a guy would rather date a girl who was herself around him. If she is the know-it-all type, then she might want to tone it down, and NOT point out EVERY little detail...Like (if this were true) Spinach comes from outer-space.
If she's stupid...I don't know about that, but seriously, just be yourself!

if you're wise and straightforward, seek for an wise undemanding lady. if you're warm and stupid seek for someone as both warm and stupid. It stands to reason that once you're wise and they are stupid, you at the prompt are not likely to be speaking about a similar issues or maybe interested in one yet another. probably you're the latter, as you want American Idol.
