last night I was sitting at my computer and suddenly I felt really, really dizzy... like a numbness on the top of my head down through my neck and I felt like I was going to faint. So I got up and stumbled over to the couch... but my left arm started feeling numb. My mind just felt like it couldn't function right. When I tried to talk it came out slow and just didn't sound right... like I was retarded or something. I'm kinda worried and I live in a really out of the way place with no car... Me and my mom are going to the hospital tomorrow on the bus, but I'm still really worried.

What do you think it is and what should I do? Should I be as worried as I am?

Take an aspirin immediately as a precaution because what you described sounds like either a stroke or a TIA. The other possibility is hypoglycemia if you're diabetic or a hypoglycemis-my Mom experienced the same thing and it looked like a stoke, but turned out to be hypoglycemia each time. Please see a doctor asap!!!!!!!!

i think you had a syncope episode, the brain just temporarily had lack of oxygen supply, so many cause, could be as simple as tiredness or scared to more serious conditions, but i guess if you're better now or did not had a recurring episode of syncope, you need not worry, just wait till you get to the hospital for the the doctors see you and do a complete check up.

I had a similar experience before, it was diagnosed as a migraine without the pain. It is good that you are going to the hospital tomarrow. A mini stroke could be a possibility but
hopefully not. Good luck.
