browsed thru his email today and found unopened mail for girls, dating sites, porn pics, and rx pill sites. how does this happen? what the **ll is he doing online???

It's called spam. He probably doesn't want it in there anymore than you would.
What the hell are you doing going through his e-mail? He should dump you for violating his privacy!
EDIT: To the guy who told me not to voice my opinion, how about you shut the hell up? I don't need to go through my boyfriend's e-mail to know he's not cheating on me. It's called trust and communication. I also happen to know exactly what kind of porn my boyfriend looks like . . . because I look at it too. Have a nice day.
EDIT: One more comment. I read through the asker's other questions, and it sounds like the relationship is a mess. There is talk of abuse, cheating, etc. Lady, I don't know why you are still hanging on, but either you or your man have serious issues, and this is not a healthy relationship. Move on. For your own sake, just move on.

His email address was compromised ie. it got added to a mailing list. It could have been done inadvertently or he bought some stuff online and is getting more offers. The former is most likely what happened - his email address is now on a spam list and he will be bombarded with many more offer.
Be cool, don't get rid of a good thing. Afterall, he must be good for you, you chose him; surely you should trust your good taste.

the same reason my email box is full of them too,,,,,,,,SPAM !!
I read today that by the end of the this year, almost 90% of the email we'll get will be SPAM.
I also noticed that the more newsletters I sign up for produces more junk email in my box. Also, dating sites seem to generate tons of crap coming in my box. They say they never give away your personal information, but your email address produces tons of junk.
I get lots of email offers for bigger breasts with a pill, so there's nothing to worry about, lots of people receive junk email. Way of life

Well, you shouldnt have been snooping and maybe you wouldnt have found anything. Ive done it before and found stuff and questioned him about it and it turned out to be innocent. I get spam all the time for penis enlargers, hot asian chicks and match.com. And Im a girl in a happy relationship. Maybe you should try trusting him a little bit.

if you accidently give your e-mail to th wrng thing (not always porn and all that) but donwloading a program you can get hit with e-mails. I have gotten hit wth e-mails
If he has Yahoo! it puts it in junk mail for you. But if its not going to junk mail on Yahoo! you got an issue happening.

ITS NOT THAT HE IS DOING SOMETHING WIERD ONLINE
i have the same problem most of it goes to my bulk mail but it also sometimes ends up in my inbox. i have never asked for any of it but i have at least 400+ spam emails like that in my bulk mail folder a day anyway. do not think he is some kind of perv. that is all spam and he cant help that it is coming into his inbox.

Yahool is natorious for that. I dont use my Yahoo box and I get about 800 emails for that aday

Ask him. Tell him you were snooping through his things and came across some things that bothered you- just be prepared for him to be mad about your invading his privacy.
