I've looked through books such as us news report and princeton review but all they have told me is details about the college. I want to know which of my choices will look good to a job on a resume. how do i figure that out?

your resume will only look impressive to people that do hiring if its supplemented with lots of internships and other experience. its better to find a school that's strong in your arena of interest, and that has lots of work opportunities and a good career center.

The media in the US have influenced the world with their artificial categorization of schools into Ivy leagues and so whats. Well, the secret is that one has to join the wagon if you dream of success. Most of the schools can be judged by the calibre of professorship that they have. Columbia, New York Univ. are among the best.

It is far more important what you do at college, than what college you attend, if you're planning for a job after four years of college.

If you're planning on going on to graduate school after you earn your bachelor's degree, you can research where students are being accepted for grad school by college.

I encourage students to look for schools where they can achieve their goals based on if the school is a good "fit" for them. Never because it will look good on a resume'.

Good luck!
