My family is planning on a cruise in the carribean. They are many cruiselines, which is the best for a family of five? (6 yr old boy, 12 yr old boy, and 14 yr old girl)

I've done Disney 4 times and once with my 17 and 14 year old boy cousins who arent disney fans and they LOVED IT!!!

Everything about it is amazing! The have alot of teenage programs, a teenage hangout room and food place. Also a movie theater on board where they show released movies, not those baby disney movies. Basketball court and arcade. all you can eat hambugers and pizza and icecream on top deck! AND when you get to Castaway Cay (Disneys Private Island) they have a teenage beach and game house!

And they have a huge amount of programs for the little ones!!! They practically BEGGGGGGG and PLEAD to go to the daycare area.

And Remember for you they are plenty of great programs for the adults! Wine, Beer, and Martini Tasting, Clubs and Dancing, an all adult restaurant, Spa, and at Castaway Cay after you dropped the kiddies at the daycare on castaway you can RELAX at the all adult beach where they serve mahi mahi and tropical drinks in Hammocks and OMG ITS PARADISE!!!!!

Hope this helps and feel free to contact!

Disney is an extremely family friendly cruise line - So family friendly that they have virtually an entire deck dedicated to their kids program, and are the only cruise line in the Caribbean that does NOT have casinos onboard.... It's a great option, however it can be very pricey...

A little lower down the price scale would be Royal Caribbean, especially on their larger ships (Radiance, Voyager, and Freedom class). They have a wealth of activities for the entire family including rock climbing walls, mini golf, inline skating (Voyager Class), and surfing simulator (Freedom Class). The Voyager and Freedom class ships even have ice skating rinks onboard!

Princess is also a very good option, they don't have the "wow" factor that Royal Caribbean's ships do. However they have a very well rated kids program. Their "Movies Under The Stars" onboard Caribbean Princess is extremely popular.

Carnival is very good if you're on a tight budget. Their Club 02 program is extremely good and they also have a lot of activities onboard that are very popular with families.

NCL used to be very good, they offer something very unique with their Freestyle Cruising concept - However, I have been hearing quite a few negative things about them lately and can't comfortably recommend them.

It's also not a bad idea to consult with a travel agent, in particular one that specializes in cruises. They can work with you to match your family with the line and itinerary that fits your family's vacation wishes and budget. I recommend Cruise Planners 888-286-9827 www.mycruiseplanner.net, they're extremely knowledgeable, have the same offers and pricing as the cruise lines and big online travel sites... Plus they don't charge any service fees...

uhh...i wouldnt do disney. well, thats unless your 12 and 14 year old love disney stuff. ive been on norwegian cruise line to the caribbean and it has has very resonable prices. oh, and not to mention, they have the BEST food you could eat! they chose very fun and family friendly ports and excursions. the staff is excellent and there is LOTSS of things to do on board. i havent been on royal carribean, but ive heard its very good. holland america is one of the best, but it has OUTRAGOUS prices. i personally dont like carnival because ive heard they dont really give you what you paid for. other cruise lines are princess, cunard, seabourn, celebrity and alot more. be sure the cruise line you want ports in your city or a city near you. which ever cruise line you pick, i hope you have a GREAT time!

I would lean toward Carnival. Theye will have entertainment for all of the kids. CampCarnival is very popular with the younger ones, and the older (teens & tweens) will love the gamezone

Decide on a cruise destination and then click on "ONBOARD EXPIERENCES". It is completely based on family. Kids would have a fantastic time. Well worth your money, reasonable price to.
