Well im sure its obvious that you need exercise and a good diet. Working long hours will make this very difficult for you as any spare time you have will require you to care for your children.
The fact is, in your situation the fast way of loosing weight wont be realisic and will be unhealthy. You need to take it it slow and do it gradually.
Diet
Simple things are during lucnh to only have sandwhiches, cold pasta, vegetables, Fruits. But dont fill your self up.
Things to stop is, mayonase, takeout food, burgers, cheese, fat ,milk etc.
WIth food what ever you eat, generally eat 1/3 food 1/3 water and 1/3 air.
Exercise.
You want to keep your heart rate over 70% your resting beat for at least 20 mins to have any affect. This should make you sweat and make it difficult to breath but not exhaust you.
You need to do this at least 3 days a week, prefebly every alternate day so that you can rest inbetween
This will also help you relieve stress.
It may take months before you even loose 1 stone.
Good luck

There are no shortcuts. We are what we eat, but we are at least as much what we don't do. Calorie intakes in 1900 and 1950 were higher than they are now, we just don't use them up!
Eat a balanced diet with plenty of fruit and veg.
Take a healthy amount of exercise 30-40 minutes of vigorous exercise per day 4-5 days a week. I hate to think what percentage of the UK population does that 2%? 5%?
I have seen hundreds of questions with this same pattern :- I am fat, tell me where on line I can get this super diet or herbal/dangerous/illegal drug that I hear will fix it for me in 10 minutes without the need for me to get off the couch!
No fixes pal , less in more out, its the only way.

Why the hurry? You are 23 years old for goodness sake. Start living a different life now. Make the decision to lose weight now and lose it for the rest of your life. I'm not sure how much weight you want to lose but none of it is in the short term or a quick fix. Soon you will be eating healthily and losing weight and you won't even notice that you've stopped eating all that crap. You will also live much longer, feel much better and begin to really love yourself.

Once you say your going on a diet, you will start feeling hungry and noticing all the food you don't allow yourself. The best way round this is to keep a lid on your calorie intake. Most people don't actually realise what they eat or when so keep a diary and take smaller portions. Eat or drink plenty of calcium as it attaches to the fat and leaves the body in the usual manner. The more calcium you have in your body the more fat will be leaving in the natural way. Don't fall for the drink a pint of water before a meal as it has no effect at all, it just goes straight through. Water is best in soups as it bulks up the stomach and helps switches off the cravings for more food. Its the best dieters trick you can think of. Protein is better for you then carbs so fewer carbs more protein.

First you should ask yourself why do we put on weight........... when the intake is more than the outtake, basically we eat more thna we burn, so use tht as a guide to lose weight, eat less, eat sensibly and excercise more, did u know tht u start burning fat after 30 mins of cardio vascular, so try that and see the difference, gud luck,

look at my other answer on your other question, as you have a young son, and work 40 - 50 hours a week, do what I suggested, eat healthily and exercise as much as you can, my idea of dancing to music at home would suit you, on fine days take your sun to the local park and mesh around with a ball, as he gets older you can go cycling together. that's if you ride a bike.
Good luck.
