My boyfriend was singing it at karaoke so I figure it must be fairly popular?

I think it is called "guang dao zhi lian" ("广岛之恋") by Karen Mok (莫文蔚) and Jeremy Zhang (张洪量), translates as something as: love in Hiroshima

there is one on the Big Bird in China video - has "Wo ai ni" in it

There is also a patriotic one with "Wo ai ni Zhong guo" - I heard it at a variety show and everyone seemed to know it

Maybe it is "Rang Wo ai Ni" (Let me Love You) by Vic Zhou and Barbie Hsu, who got married not long ago by the way...Barbie is so moé!
