it is a automatic on the floor, it will start but you have to move shifter around and then it starts up. woundering if it can be adjusted if so where is the adjustment? any website or information would be helpful..Thanks straight 6 4x4

Not that I know of but you can get in there and cross wire it. Now it sounds like the bracket the switch is in could be broke or the switch is getting worn out. Perhaps your floor linkage is getting sloppy. Take it apart and sneak a peak is the best way.

I think you'll go better changing the switch it is directly where the shifter is located, the switch is pretty cheap at autozone or any parts dealer.

I think you will have to buy a new switch, it's basically electrical and no adjustment.
