Is it a sadistic mean streak or am I just glad it's not me in one of those cars?

@Pack Ratt!
Actually no, I don't like boxing or WWF and I avoid shows such as Springer's like the plague.
My question about "mean streak" etc, was simply a provocative one.
But I do derive a certain amount of satisfaction knowing I'm not one of those drivers.

@David
Yeah, that's one of my favorites to come out of the icy storms we had here in Oregon.
I'm about 20 miles outside Portland and remember watching the local news the first time that video was played.
Good one!

Not quite sure, but I do know, I do enjoy watching them myself. Although, I wouldn't enjoy it so much if I was in the car, and my car was damaged. I don't think it is a sadistic mean streak!!

But, one that I bookmarked a while back may be of interest to you!!

I liked that last one, slipping right through the other cars without touching them or banging into anything at all. Nice.

I don't think it's so much about not being them as it is about imagining that you WERE them. Your heart would be racing, you might be injured or die in a minute and there's nothing you can do about it.

Same reason people climb mountains and do extreme sports. People want to feel alive.

The thing is, we can feel alive without doing those things. Most people are sort of on an auto pilot though and don't really feel alive.

Even though you don't know anyone from the car crash.People get hurt and die.It's not always a person's fault that gets in those crashes.Sometimes they are coming home from work or did not have a chance to hear about the road conditions.Would you want someone to think of your mishap as a form of entertainment?

'whilst a Church erects a massive flow by making use of a highway, do they take accountability for vampires crashing their vehicles?' unquestionably! 'What if a vampire drives by making use of, and crashes right into a Christian?' The Christian is stored!

i ENJOYED THAT TOO. It is so thought provoking. YOu think about how negligent the roads and traffic authority are in maintaining our roads...how there are so many people out there that don't know what to do on ice or how to control their vehicle. You also think about how stupidly people go at high speed no matter what ....and how people underestimate their car, the weather, the road conditions and their ability to drive under less than ideal conditions. You also think about how you could die at any second of any hour of any day, as a result of a split seconds loss of control of yourself or being in the wrong place at the wrong time can cause death or injury.

I suppose you also like fights and drama? It all stems from the Jerry Springer mentality of enjoying violence and Kaos. Let's just hope you grow out of it.

Sadly I see old old people still rubber necking when they drive by accidents.

You probably died in such an accident in one of your previous lives :)

I wouldn't consider it sadistic unless people are hurt. Then you're just an ***.

It's not like you're causing it or anything, so it's fine. Sounds like we have a future Nascar fan...

It's funny watching people who shouldn't be out driving crash. As long as no one gets hurt.
