Only if you got it from the vet and the vet has prescribed the right dosage for your dog. Otherwise take your dog to the vet to have it evaluated so the dog can be properly diagnosed. Amoxcillin does not cure everything.

Listen im not going to be mean!
Cuz i have asked some questions about breeding and people are really cruel here, you would never find this is the boating world.
But lets get to the point.
I dont suggest that you give your dog any medication that wasnt prescibed by your vet!
take the dog in if it is sick!
What is the dogs syptoms?
runny nose?
diarihha?
vomiting?
lethargic?

If it's a people medication than no! Pets have their own version of antibiotics better get the dog into the vets!

Why? Its a matter how how much to give. Over dosage may be harmful to the dog..

if its a bacterial infection for dogs then Amoxicillin is the best medicine. Amoxicillin is protein binding in nature. It is useful in treating wounds, skin infections, tooth abscesses, infections of lower respiratory tract, genitourinary tract, urinary bladder, etc.,

yes amoxicillin is given to dogs, but vets have to give you the proper dose and determine if the drug is even indicated for the problem.

i took mine to the vet when he was sick and they gave me the same anti biotic as i give my son when he is sick exactly the same thing
