The Tanakh DOES condemn homosexuality. It includes a lack of life sentence. What bible are you reading? And only for the list, hearth replaced into basically as warm in Moses' day because that's now, so the cooking of the beef nonsense is basically that. beef is filthy, and so are shellfish, even if you've faith it or no longer. particular issues at the prompt are not presented up in the "new testomony" because those topics were settled and there replaced into no favor to bigger communicate them. I gotta hand it to you, your doing all of your best to take care of your habit. you at the prompt are not doing a sturdy job, yet you try all a similar. bypass get your self a cookie...you've earned it.

The answer to your question is found in this passage. All you have to do is substitute homosexuality and eating shellfish for murder and adultery.
James 2:10 For whoever keeps the whole law but fails in one point has become accountable for all of it. 11 For he who said, "Do not commit adultery," also said, "Do not murder." If you do not commit adultery but do murder, you have become a transgressor of the law.
As to your other question, the eating of shellfish was ceremonial law and not a moral law. The dietary laws, where some foods were considered to be "unclean" while others were "clean" was an outward symbol pointing to the true inward sanctification that God desired from his children. Jesus revealed this to us when He came.
Mark 7:18 And he said to them, "Then are you also without understanding? Do you not see that whatever goes into a person from outside cannot defile him, 19 since it enters not his heart but his stomach, and is expelled?" (Thus he declared all foods clean.) 20 And he said, "What comes out of a person is what defiles him.
21 For from within, out of the heart of man, come evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, 22 coveting, wickedness, deceit, sensuality, envy, slander, pride, foolishness. 23 All these evil things come from within, and they defile a person."
Notice that Jesus said that sexual immorality was one of the things that truely defiled a person.

The first verse is only against male on male homosexuality (and is anatomically impossible). Of course, that could be simply because they assumed no females would be able to read it. Christians will also quote Jesus saying "it's not what goes in the mouth but what comes out that is importaant." (paraphrase) This is what is known as 'cherry picking' belief based on personal comfort.

The point of the laws in Leviticus is to show the holiness of God and to show us how impossible it is to live up to perfect standards, and then later to show God's goodness in taking our punishment because of our imperfection.
...however, eating shellfish will not keep us out of heaven,
while other sin will...

I believe the shellfish thing was settled in the New Testament. But we shouldn't eat it.
