the question may sound silly and easily answered, let me elaborate.
first of all, over the past few years ive been getting brutal heatburn/reflux/indegestion from a lot of things, especially drinking alcohol. I almost always feel something is 'stuck' in my esophoghas. (btw, i have taken every otc and even tried nexium for a month - no help)
I seem to get far sicker far easier from drinking than my peers. I consider a 'hangover' to mean ive been vomiting for hours. I realized that most people i talk to rarely become ill from drinking. I sometimes get bad hangovers on nites that i drank but never got drunk. i also rarely vomit while imbibing, its always the next morning. what gives?
please spare me talks about quitting drinkjng altogether...i like my drink and want to be able to have a social cocktil without it feeling as my guts are being ripped up!
I dont have health insurance and am not in a postion to pay for a doc.

chew tums before going drinking and let one melt slowly in your mouth between drinks, i had the exact same problem, also the calcium will absorb the alcohol and you won't get so tipsy so fast, also chew a tums before going to bed and one before breakfast, but only when u go out, if u abuse tums you can get calcification problems in your kidneys and breasts, DO THIS ONLY WHEN YOU DRINK ALCOHOL!!!

You should not be vomiting from drinking. Left untreated GERD can lead to esophogeal erosion which is very very serious. You mention no being able to pay for a doc yet you have money to go out drinking with, you have a computer and you have internet access. SPARE ME the I can afford to see a doc even though my life might be at stake.

Eat before you drink(no salad or cereal) Something that will absorb the alcohol. Don't mix your alcohols(wind, hard liquor)
Also, I've found that I have to take it easy on drinks that are really sweet. They will do me in.
Oh, and no your limit.
Well, good luck.

Alcohol is a poison in the technical sense of the word. Any questions?

...alcohol is only "1" molecule away from pharmaceutical Ether.
Ether...is a deadly poison... Alcohol is a solvent... it dissolves things like brain cells, red blood cells etc. etc. obviously you are very sensitive, possibly even allergic to it... consider quitting... or...enjoy the slow death-path that you might be on.
