the easiest way is to drag the files or folders u want to the burner icon in mycomputer ... then follow the prompts to "write these files to cd" ....

If you have a burner, check its User Guide or the installation CD to see what software runs it.

In order to use a CD as a floppy and store files on it, you must use CD/RWs and they must first be formatted with the appropriate software which powers your burner.

I did this before I discovered flashdrives. Now I don't bother with CDs for storage any more. Flashdrives hold much more and the price has come way down, they are easily transportable, and work like a floppy.

use a cd burner program like nero or roxio
