I have started receiving emails from someone who says they saw my profile on msn, then they said yahoo, but have been very vague. I really suspect this is not what it is cracked up to be and just want to see if there is anyway I can figure out if it is someone tricking me. Any Suggestions?

Ask them if they know what you look like, since they claim they saw your profile. If they claim yes, ask them to describe you and compare how accurate the results are, if they say no, tell them to quote something you said on your profile(s). Or you could just mark his emails as 'Spam' and then have no more problems!

First, try to block his email.
You should never open a email from someone you don't know, you run the risk of getting a virus or worse someone can hack into your computer and get personal information.
This person already knows you are naive enough to open his mail, maybe respond and you maybe ripe for some kind of con.
If you are posting a profile for dating purposes use caution and if you get a bad vibe end the communication.

best way is ignore them unless they start spamming you then report them
