Ok does anyone else get like an itch on one part of your arm and you dont scratch it right away cuz you are doing something else. Then when you go to scratch it, it gets "lost" in the your arm. What I mean by that is that almost like the itch gets absorbed by your body, but still needs to be scratched, but now you can find the spot you need to scratch because it is "lost" and the itch feels trapped in your body and it drives you crazy because you want to scratch but cant because the itch feels like it is inside of your arm and cant reach it. Am I crazy or has this every happened to anyone else? And what do you do to make it go away?

Yeah but the area that was itching begins to feel numb. So the itch feels trapped in my body. And when I scratch in that area, I feel no relief. It is weird.

an itchy sensation has many complex mechanism involved, first of all, some of the nerve fibers in our skin that conducts itch sensation are not very precise in locating or pinpointing the exact location of the itch. secondly, itch sensation involves inflammatory skin conditions and sometimes mental condition, ( sometimes even without an insect bite or without a mark of bite, you still can have a sensation of itchiness ). so many factors are involved in these very simple act of " scratching " so don't worry, you're not crazy.

Scratch the area in which it was bothering you.
It's not lost it's still there.
