I bought a prepared Caesar salad from the store today, and I am wondering how long I can keep it in the fridge before it spoils.

If the Ceasar salad has raw egg or anchovies on it like traditional Ceasar salad does I wouldn't keep it over night. If it doesn't have that on it- 24 hours max.Maybe longer if in a sealed bag vs. plastic container.

As long as everything is still in its own little baggies, the croutons, dressing and lettuce should live until the dead date on the bag. I find the older they get the lettuce tastes bitter or goes brown. If the salad is all mixed and the dressing is on it, it'll get soggy and gross overnight. Ew.

Not long as you already know but lemon juice will help preserve your fruits, veggies and other greens. If you do not mind the extra zest lemon and or lime juice is a good natural preservative

It depends on how fresh it was in the store. I would keep it until the lettuce starts to shrivel... even then, if I were hungry enough, I would pick out the shriveled lettuce and eat the rest... :-)

Salad greens don't last to long. One day or so. Maybe they aren't spoiled but they taste bad.
