Since you are using a topical anti-acne medication, I would doubt that you are getting headaches from it as the absorption is very low.

You can stop using the medication and see if your headaches go away.

Otherwise you need to speak with your personal physician and see if they can help you determine the cause of the headaches. This medium is not appropriate for attempting to diagnose medical conditions.

As a side note, people who overdose on aspirin do get very vicious headaches. Always thought that was kind of ironic.

******* Just saw your additonal comments.

YES THIS IS DANGEROUS IF SWALLOWED. The reason I knew it was topical was that it contained denatured alcohol which is toxic. I'd ventrue that at least one other ingredient is also toxic, but I don't know them all off the top of my head.

No, salicylic acid is a blood thinner, as is EDTA... The only thing I see in there which might possibly cause headaches is the urea.

My suggestion would actually be to drink more water, see if that works. But you should actually talk to the dr. who prescribed it...
If it's non-prescription then it probably doesn't work anyway so just stop it.

I really doubt it. It could even be dehydration. I suggest you stop using the acne product, but continue doing everything else the exact same since you began getting these headaches and see if they go away. If not try something else.

A wash doesn’t get very much aspirin in your system. Poisoning should occur when you take massive doses of aspirin. Only in pill form.

salicylic acid is the active ingredient in aspirin, too.
So, probably not.
