I have a problem, I need help please!

I am told by ministers, no matter how hard I try to bring them in to God's fold, I will lose most of my friends to hell due to their free will choice to serve Satan.

I do not know how to handle this. I can't stop loving people!

I wish I never were! Why is God being so cruel to me, shoving it down my throat that no matter how hard I try, it is my fault for people going to hell, why didn't I save them, etc etc.

I never asked God to come here, yet I am being forced to choose heaven or hell. If I choose neither, being trapped in confusion & mental hell, that is choosing hell?

I do not understand! It is painful, confusing, destroying me, but I can't die of suicide because that is "sin"!

Living is hell, hell is hell, everything is hell around me & there is no hope!

I never want to live again unless ALL people can be saved, & I really mean that. I do not care abotu my own life, I care about others more than me.

Why can't I have this?

Why can't I?

Dude!
It's time for a serious reality check. This is a "problem" of your own creation stemming from your irrational belief in Christian Mysticism. The truth is, your ministers have been lying to you. God is imaginary. There is no Heaven. There is no Hell. When you die you're done. Don't waste your life while you still have it. It's as simple as that.....

It seems as though the ministers you have talked to have a Calvinist background, so let's pick your posting apart:

- Will you lose most of your friends in hell? You don't know that, and neither does your minister, and it's not up to anybody to send anyone to heaven or hell. That's God's job. And he is glorified either way.
- A free will choice to serve Satan is the only choice that we have save for God's mercy. God rules this universe, man does not.
- When you say you can't stop loving people, you are following a tenet of Jesus Christ.
- If you wish you never were, I believe Jesus said the same thing about Judas, better that he never had been born. But you're here, you carry original sin and a sin nature, and it seems as if you realize that God can and will show his wrath, which has brought a fear of the Lord for you. Congratulations, I also fear the Lord.
- If you believe it is your fault for people going to hell, we need to look once again at who man is before an almighty, perfect God, who has the power and ability to choose his own onto salvation or not. It is not up to you, it is not any choice by a fallen man to be able to decide for himself whether he will go to heaven or not. He is guilty, and guilty men cannot choose their own freedom before the judge. God rules, God decides, and that means God can predestine. Take the foreknowledge/predestination versus at face value, I believe that the Bible means what it says about who God is.
- It's true that you never asked God to be alive, but it's God that must come to you anyway. If you were not called, you would not care.
- I liked your statement about "there is no hope". The Heidelberg catechism addresses this in its very first question, "what is your only comfort in life and in death?" -- that I am not my own, but belong -- body and soul, in life and in death -- to my faithful Savior Jesus Christ. There is more to the answer, but you get the idea, there is no hope without Christ.
- If you feel that you have to sacrifice your own life for all people to be saved, remember that you are a sinner and a sinner cannot save other sinners. It took the blood sacrifice of a holy son of God to do that, and not everyone will be saved, I think you also know that.

Why can't you have this? You can, just remember that a new heart comes from God, not from within yourself. Repent and be baptized if you haven't already done so, and join the other Christians who have the joy of salvation from a merciful God who saves some when all should perish.

You are only responsible for their blood if you do not share the truth of Jesus Christ. If you share, the ball is then in their court and they alone are accountable for their own decisions.

When it comes to your friends’ relationships with God, you must plant the seed and allow the Holy Spirit to do the work. This might be why your multiple attempts are not working. I had a very similar experience with a close friend a couple years ago until I realized what I was doing wrong. I realized that God is in the driver’s seat, not me ;) Although seeing a friend make a wrong choice hurts (a lot sometimes), we must remember that God is a just God and justice must be served. The best thing you can do for those folks are to pray for them and be there to help pick them back up when they fall down.

Your relationship between you and God should be the most important thing. Family and friends come #2. God is the ultimate parent and friend all in one and there is always hope because God never leaves you and is always available and open to chat. (See Deu 31:6) If you develop your relationship with God, your life will then become a living witness for people around you. Your actions will speak a lot more than any words…so show your friends how it’s done and give them a reason to say “I want some of what you have!”

You may want to consider “Purpose Driven Life” by Rick Warren to supplement any bible studies you do. I found it useful for answering some of the perplexing personal questions I had about my life. (www.purposedrivenlife.com)

Dear Suffering One,
You have been misled by an ignorant mininster, of which I have seen a few. It is not your responsibility to "Save" anyone. The best you can do is offer your religion to them. Free choice is theirs. Aside from that has anyone told you that God is ectasy and love? Try dancing to uplifting and positive music, singing praise songs, then make up your own or beat a drum while chanting praise or the psalms. When you have done this for hours and hours, try a quiet spot where you can hear the wind. Ask for guidance. If you still feel the need to "save" or help someone, go to the puppy pound and save an animal slated for death, volenteer at a veteran's event, visit the homeless, the poor, the sick. then tell me if you still can't find God and goodness and peace.Remember to thank God/godesse/creator for being able to walk, talk, eat, and feel. Thank and thank and enjoy the ectasy of union with God.

If i was you you need to find a new minister there should never be any one out there telling you that because your friends choose to not have the relationship with God as you are trying to reach that they will go to hell. find a religion that is willing to teach you on having a relationship with God and not trowing the Bible at you and telling you that your going to hell if you do this and do that. It's not about religion it's about Relationship with God if you keep that in mind pray and keep God by your side you will be just fine and still be able to keep all of your friends no matter what they are doing in there life.

I'll make sure that i pray for you

You seem overstressed. Of course, God would like to use you to save others, but not in such an overclocking fashion. That doesn't seem like God at all - trying to force it upon you. It could even be a deceiving spirit/religious spirit trying to so pressure you into 'righteous' things that you are put off God.

Of course you might get a real desire to win people for Christ, and that is very good thing, but then it will be 'voluntary servitude' and a pleasure, even if hard effort, but it must come from you desiring it. If its being pressured on you by others, or from demanding thoughts, its not God !
God the Holy Spirit guides, He does not force. Your frame of mind suggests you are being worked on in some ungodly fashion, by man or spirit.

Ultimately response to the gospel is up to individuals.

There are people out there who have become real 'soul winners', you could read their biographies. Actually many and probably most seem to have gone through stages of ineffectiveness and burn-out, until they had empowering experiences with God - baptism of the Holy Spirit, and reception of supernatural giftings etc - that enabled them to be very effective. Eg Claudio Freidzon, Heidi Baker, Pastor Yongi Cho, Randy Clark (Global Awakening ministries) being recent examples.

Hope this helps - God bless you.

The answer, kind soul, is a fairly simple one, but your minister is somehow too ignorant to know it. It is not your place or your duty to judge the souls of your fellow people. That right belongs to God alone. People with loving hearts DO NOT go to hell, nor do they condemn others to hell.
I suggest keeping your love for God and humanity alive by leaving the church of the ignorant minister far behind you.
In exactly the same way that love can never condemn to hell, hate can never be rewarded with heaven. The hatred preached in some "churches" is not the will of God.
Forgive your minister, then turn away from his ignorant teachings. The love in your heart will teach you what you need to learn.

I am agnostic so please accept my explanation for your problem as a consideration. I used to be a Christian until I did some reflection into myself. Leave that church for one. Your faith is lacking and I can understand. If you believe that Jesus did die on the cross then you should know that he did die for every ones sins. Everybody! Did you hear that. That means even whom you believe to be bad is not bad because they are already saved. Read Hebrews about the New Covenant. I am agnostic and I have different views about Jesus. But, you need to leave that church. That is not a healthy environment. The church wants converts to make others feel guilty to get money! Jesus did not overturn the table and then call the money changers children of Satan for nothing. It is all about the money. The more converts the more money. Just stay home and read your bible and believe what you choose to believe.

While your hearts desire is good to desire that those you know be saved, it is only your place to tell them the good news of Jesus and His gift of salvation for all of mankind. Those who refuse, refuse. It is not your fault, it is not your responsibility. The issue for you is to just continue to love them, and maybe, if they do see your compassion for them, and the grace of Jesus made manifest for them, through you, you might change their mind. God is NOT being cruel, He only gave man the right to make a choice. He gave us free will. Let's put it another way, could you really love, and be devoted to someone if you were forced to do so? No, you would not. The freedom of choice makes the desire to love someone, or to love God, makes that love desireable, and a pleasure. As in Job, Satan accused God of making Job love Him. That is one of the reasons, to prove Satan wrong, that God allowed Job to endure what he endured. Look, however, at the end result. Your choice; God is right, and does love all of us, therefore all that we endure is for our best good, or God is bad. I say God is good and has done His best short of depriving us of free will. I also know of people that I consider to be very good people, but I also know that they might very well spend eternity in Hell. I don't like it, but they made that choice. A choice they have to live with. Love your friends, but realize that they have the right to make their own choice. One point, your obsessing over this miught just be their cause to not want to be saved. The possible idea being if he is what it means to be saved, I want nothing to do with it. So, their rejection could be your fault because of what you, and only you, are doing. Leave God out of how you are acting, it is your fault, not His.

You have a good heart, I tell you this; No body should ever tell you such a thing as this. Though I am sure they are meaning well, God sent his Son to Die for our sins. Even if your friend does not believe, Keep on prayin for them. If they ever are sick, pray for their Healing. When they are healed their sins are forgiven them also. When you Forgive them, God Forgives them also. When Jesus went to the cross, He said Father Forgive them they know not what they do. The people who crucified him did not believe, they openly rejected him, yet He Forgave them and bore their sins on the cross. This is why "There is no such thing as an Athiest" because just as the scribes and pharacees rejected him, so do the athiest, yet Jesus died for them , God Loved them and sent his only son to the cross. Your church should look at the facts before
passing judgement.
