How do I get a VOB file from a DVD and change it to an mpeg or avi?

just check the web or download.com for a vob to mpeg or avi converter. I use one that works really well but it was 30 dollars and the trial only lets you convert 50 percent of the file but just in case it is called Ultra Video Converter, it is worth the money.

rip the dvd ... then use somthing like winavi to convert the vob u want .. if u want the whole movie use dvd decrypter to rip the dvd then autogk to convert to avi ...
