I made some chili that is waaaaay too spicy... I dont have anymore tomato sauce... any suggestions?

refried beans soaks up some of the spices as well as putting in a potato cut in half lengthwise.

But the best way to cut the heat is to add sour cream or yogurt to the chili as dairy coats the tongue from the spicy oils.

Freeze it and add it to a bland batch of chili at a later date.

Depending upon how runny it is (if it's thick it won't work well), you can throw in large chunks of potato to suck up some of the spice/salt. But if your chii is really thick, try adding a bit of water or beef stock.

You could try serving it with cheese, dairy helps ease the sensation of overly-spicy foods.

Have heard that longer cooking will cook out some of the heat

add sugar.. the sweetness will help to take away some of the spicy-nezz...
