fun: A very GOOD question you present, here !!! As a Christian, I can assure you that this will occur, at the return of Jesus Christ to the Earth. In the Book of Revelation, You can read where Christ has His angel do as you have stated. (see: The Book of Revelation, 20th chapter, verses 10 & 14 ) . Here's a question for ya ! - If "hell" was a place where people go "who are bad", why is it that "hell" is burned up in its own fire? The ANSWER: "hell" ,as written throughout the Bible, is a mistranslation of the word "grave" [original Greek word is: "hades"] . "Grave" or "hades" is where death is. In other words, Christ's angels are getting rid of "death" or the grave. You are correct in your surmizing. Everyone will have his or her chance at establishing a relationship with Christ, therefore, "death" will no longer be an option for any human ever born. In the end, we ALL WIN !!! - Great Question !!!

P.S. "Why not now" - at this time ? Because, God has formulated a Devine Plan for His human Creation, and everything is on a "Time Table", to speak ! This all commenced with Adam and Eve being placed in the Garden of Eden, verses the "Two trees" and tempted by the most cunning, fallen, Arch angel - Satan !

Why don't you hurt people you have the ability to hurt.? Is it because the ramifications seem too much to deal with? Does destroying Satan and Hell destroy our ability to hate? The message from Jesus is that he paid the price of salvation and assured everlasting life in Heaven, thus nullifying the power of Satan and Hell.

I am responding as a student of religions, not as a Christian.

In ancient Jewish tradition Satan is simply an angel doing the work that God assigned to Satan to do.

The word Satan means challenger. With the idea of Satan challenging us, or tempting if you will. This description sees Satan as the angel who is the embodiment of man's challenges. This idea of Satan works closely with God as an integral part of Gods plan for us. His job is to make choosing good over evil enough of a challenge so that it becomes clear to us that there can be only one meaningful or logical choice.

Contrast this to Christianity, which sees Satan as God's opponent. In Jewish thought, the idea that there exists anything capable of setting itself up as God's opponent would be considered polytheistic or setting up the devil to be an equally powerful polarity to god or a demigod.

Oddly, proof for The Christian satan/devil mythology is supposedly found in the ancient Jewish texts that were borrowed to create the bible. One can’t help but wonder how Christians came up with such a fantastically different interpretation of Gods assistant Satan in their theology.

Other hints about Satan’s role in human relations can be seen if you look at the name Lucifer. It’s meaning in the original tongue translates as Light bearer or light bringer. Essentially the bringer of enlightenment. The temptations of the Satan idea bring all of us eventually into Gods light. Hardly the Evil entity of Christian mythology.

He could destroy all that is evil, but, God gave us all a free will to chose our paths in life. Lucifer chose to go against God and now he is paying the price as Satan.

Questions like this will not change reality.
God wants you to come to grips with reality.
Reality is: there is a Satan, and there is a hell.
Satan is going to end up in hell, or more properly, the Lake of Fire.
The question is - will you be joining him?
That is not God's will, but He won't make you do anything. Choose life. Choose Christ.

hell is the grave and hell will give up the dead in it after armaggeddeon satan will be abyssed If you don't believe you won't survive Armaggeddeon and be around to see it. Satan and his demons have brought about pain and suffering on this earth not God.

Well, if you read the Bible, you'd know that someday he will. Satan will be thrown into the lake of fire forever. However, before Satan will rule for 1000 years. Before that, Christ will return and all believers will be taken to heaven. He wont destroy hell yet probably because he wants to give us a free will. He doesnt want to force us to do anything. He wants us to be able to have a free will, and at the same time love him. However, since some people choose to follow Satan (even without knowing it), that was their choice.

He will throw Satan in the lake of fire and with him all that follow the devil.
God did not create the devil. He did create free will. Satan, who was once an angel wanted to be like God and was therefore banned. Man has free will to chose. Without this free will we would be nothing but robots. Love would not exist. Do I want my children to act like robots? No way. Each has their own wonderful personality. God wants us to chose Him out of our own will, then it will have meaning.

The Christian God is a God of eternal life, freedom, justice, and mercy.

If you think you can do any better than God in applying all of the above principles, then go for it!

God is all knowing and just he has allocated time for all things to exist and desist.

if he is very eager to do things like that then all people will be punished immediately at the very time they are committing their sins, so you wouldn't exist and ask things like this cause you will be punished for using the gods name in vain and blasphemous statements like this
