She gives me all the signs, she even holds my hand in public while we walk, but she has also indicated that if a guy friend asks for a different relationship, she stops talking to them. So i am afraid of asking her. What should i do?

You could ask one of her friends if she likes you...? This is very tricky since you don't want to lose the friendship with her (I assume), but you should probably ask her.
Wait until sometime you are alone, and then say something like, "I know this is kind of weird, but I just wanted to make sure that I know where we stand. Do you like me as a friend or more? 'Cuz I have been getting some mixed signals and, honestly, I am a little confused."
She might give you a weird look, but she will probably give you an answer with it. Even if it's awkward, you won't have to worry about it anymore.

grow a pair and ask her man. Just do it !!! The longer you wait the harder it is if she doesnt liek you liek that. Dont beat up yourself day in and day out. You have a right to know what she wants from you. Trust me find out sooner then later bro.

Ask her to go with you and volunteer at a homeless shelter, a senior citizen home, or a soup kitchen.
Make this a once-a-week event, and pretty soon she'll be all yours.

Why don't you ask her yourself if she likes you, don't ask to further your relationship, just ask if she's into you.
