I'm from new orleans and have been going to LSU for 3 years. i like to party... alot!! LSU has tons of student apartments near campus.but I'm transfering to CSUN in August.
are there any student oriented apartments near CSUN that are actually decent looking?? if not, where would you suggest that i live?

You should try and live in the student housing. I know that sounds super lame, but CSUN dorms are NOT normal dorms. THey are real apartments, with kitchens and everything, and then you will be near other young people. Also, everyone lives in the dorms there, not just freshmen; there are tons of people up to like their late twenties living there. Go on the CSUN website and look at their housing page.
If you don't/can't do that, most of the apartments around CSUN have a lot of students living in them, but because it's such a commuter school there are also adults living there too. All of the street names in the previous post are close to campus. The apartments close by will vary a lot in terms of cost, but I can't think of any that are overly gross or anything like that. I imagine it would be easier to be social and party if you had a roommate who liked to do the same, so look on craigslist in the los angeles section, under the san fernando valley. If you want to have a student lifestyle, though, you've really got to stay pretty close to campus; if you go too far away it just becomes the vast valley with families and suburbs and dullness.

Check out the ones off on Darby. When I went to CSUN My apartment was in Granada Hills. It was very nice with a beautiful pool. There area also ones just off of Reseda Blvd. Check out Zelza Ave and Plummer Ave . Apartments are a little less if you get them with a Reseda Address.
Hey Paris, Yeah it is amazing. This school is growing. It has enrollment of a small city.
