how far would u go into there personnel lives? from asking who they like to when there old enough there sex lives. please explain how far and why?

I take it only as far as I need to, to be able to give her the answers she needs to make responsible choices. I do not really want to know about her sex life; but I want her to be able to come to me, because I know I will be looking out for her best interests. I have expereince in life she lacks, and id rather her come to me, than someone who might give her bad advise. I dont push her. I leave the door open, remind her she can trust me, and hope and pray she believes me. I think it's important for kids to be able to know they can come to their parents without embarressment or shame.

You should just be a loving disciplined mom, but be cool about it. Just don't make them scared to come to you with their problems and they will tell you themselves. When I was young, I was afraid to go to my guardians because I knew they would punish me and fuss at me. So just let them know that you want to be a part of their lives and SHARE your life with them too, that will surprise them and make them talk back. For example, just wait until something related comes up and be like "When I was a teenageer, I..." and just talk about something interesting. She'll probably come back with "Really? I..." You can do it whenever, driving home from the grocery store whatever. Just don't set her down out of nowhere and say you need to talk. That just puts an automatic barrier of "I'm not listening, I'm a rebel" Good luck!

why moms? I'm thirteen and who better to know then the daughters themselves... I have a boy friend and most of my friend s make out with their boy friends, so you can ask me anything and I'd tell you the truth...
If your daughter is not comfortable talking to you about things then there is somethng wrong... my mom is like that... i can't talk to her about anything because she just doesn't let it go... So its what you should be looking for its what you should change...

my mom would go all the way just t see that i don't have a boyfriend in my life through high school just because all they would want out of me is sex.

i am 13 and i will tell you what not to do i mean what you shouldn't in your dauters lives
don't look into there diaries and if you are cosenrnd with sex then talk to her

my bff's mother goes way far. she stoll her diary read it, put it back, let my bff rite in it for a month and took it again
