While being portrayed as really easy to understand, a quick look around you will indicate that while it may be "easy" to understand, there are billions of different opinions on what is so "known" to be fact in the Bible.

You can't get 2 ministers to agree on the meaning of 1 topic, let alone use the same bible.

Then, believers are told "Be ye not unequally yoked" as though they are somehow superior than their fellow man?

It tells us plainly that all sin, & if you say in your heart that you have no sin, you lie & the truth is not in you!

So how, if Christians are still sinning, are they so much better than their fellow man?

Aren't we all the same? Can't we all get along? If it is ok for Christians to sin, why is it so wrong for sinners to sin?

Besides, the definition of sinner is one who sins. Shouldn't they change their title, being they are sinners also?

How long will we allow foolish dogma to divide our love for each other like this?

Is it time to burn all Bibles?

I disagree with the burning of any book... But in this case it is awfully tempting isn't it...

"You can't get 2 ministers to agree on the meaning of 1 topic, let alone use the same bible."

Actually that's not true. You can get almost ALL ministers to agree on the essential doctrines of the Bible, that Jesus was born of a virgin, that He lived a sin free life, that He died on a cross and rose from the dead on the third day, and that by grace a person is given the gift of faith unto salvation and not by works so that whosoever believes on Jesus will be saved.

After that come the non-essentials that believers can differ over but not divide over.

The Bible doesn't divide us, it is our own pride that divides us. When men stop seeking their own will and submit to the will of God, then we will have true brotherhood among mankind. But this will not be fully realized until the Kingdom of God comes in its fullness, with the return of Jesus Christ.

Not time to burn the Bibles but maybe time to be stricter about educating the younger generation in real science, the use of logic and reason etc.

Good thinking!
If someone has trouble reading, burn all the books!

Burn? No, just shoot the planet destroying ray from the Death Star at them. Or let it be and just laugh and laugh.
