Well first of all the girth should be tight enough so you can just fit two fingers in it. To adjust your stirrups while on the horse take your foot out of the stirrup and move back and out of they way, pull the stirrup up to you so it's kind of in your lap and adjust, then place back down to see if it is the right length. To strengthen your muscles my riding teacher told me to put my toes on the stairs so that the rest of my foot is hanging off the stairs, you should feel a stretch in your calf. Hope i helped!

Well then I'm sorry to say your not quite in the advanced/intermidate area if you can't tighten your saddle or sturrups. You might be advanced/intermidate in riding but you should already know how to take up your own horse and tighten the sinch.
ANYWAYS...
The sinch/saddle should be pretty tight and after you got it tight after your all done tacking up check it again because the horse probably sucked out already. Also after you've been riding a-little keep checking it because it gets loosend fast.
To ajust your sturrups IN the saddle? I don't know bout that one but it's pretty easy to learn just ask your riding coach and she should tell you because it's hard to write it out.
Streching... Thats pretty easy just bend all the way to the ground and touch your toes just really find ways to loosen your legs and maybe your arms. That should help.

Well I hope I helped you!

I ALWAYS START AT THE BEGINNING,AND IF YOUR INSTRUCTOR DIDN'T THEN YOU GOT CHEATED.1 THING I WOULD SUGGEST IS TO NOT ADJUST YOUR STIRRUPS WHILE IN THE SADDLE. THIS PUTS YOU IN A VERY VULNERABLE POSITION. MOUNT AND STEP OFF TO ADJUST, WITH THE QUICK CHANGE BUCKLES THIS SHOULD ONLY TAKE A FEW MINUTES. YOU CAN ALSO GET SOMEONE ON THE GROUND TO ADJUST THEM FOR YOU. TAKE THE TIME AND GO BACK TO THE BEGINNERS CLASSES FOR YOUR SAFETY AND THE SAFETY AND HEALTH OF YOUR HORSE.

You are paying for lessons and should ask for your moneys worth.....i.e. ask your instructor to demonstrate because you can't learn as easily without doing it.

I really don't know.
Ask somebody else to do it.
Pushups, situps, run, jump rope, any thing that envolves movement.
