I started talking to a guy who is older then i am and he calles me young lady would that bother you??? It bothers me because that's what my mother says when she is unhappy with me!!

I wouldn't take it to heart,but if it upsets you then you should tell him not to call you that anymore.

It would depend on the context. If it bothers you, just tell him the same way you told us- that your mother uses it and it doesn't make you feel good. I'm not sure what age 'older' is, but if he is old enough to call you "young lady", he should definitely be old enough to understand why it would bother you and not be upset about you telling him. :-)

if its all the time.. then YES thats a big problem... there are so many nicknames that he could call you.. and he decided to pick young lady.??? .. I think he has motivates.. so just end this relationship NOW!
