It is an act of the will, they choose to be willfully blind.

I honestly read the website. Even clicked a few links. The link about the neutron bomb that was apparently predicted in the bible was about how god was going to murder everyone. Not much proof there. The fact that there is a cry for global peace isn't quite abnormal. Also, the fact that the in the last days, everyone will see blah blah blah doesn't point to global communication, it would mean that the events would occur globally. Really, there isn't much information there worth reading.

ok man, think for a minute...

how does our calendar work...it is by the life of christ that we base our timeline.

christ died almost 2000 years ago.

your site claims that your religion (christianity) made these predictions up to 3500 years ago.

that would be possible if christ had not come in the middle of that time and now.

your religion is only about 1500 years old. and such is the age of your bible. yet this site is making claims that 1900 to 3500 years ago these things were written.

if that is so then people simply did not care about these writings untill 400 years after the death of christ right?

so how can any of it be his direct word?

************************************

and lastly, if i make 100 predictions today that are extravagant by our standards 2000 years from now they will seem every day things and will be comming true.

people have been saying that we are living in the last days for the last 2000 years. give it a rest already.

There are no prophetic facts happening. It's called coincidence. I prophesize that tomorrow the sun will rise in the east. And I bet I'm right!

That page is hard on the eyes, in more ways than one. A black background gets very tiring to read very quickly, but worse than that, all these so-called 'prophecies' are variously too vague, too obvious or just plain wrong.

Not persuaded, sorry.

I don't ignore them at all. Watching how fundies interpret current events to fit their predictions is a fascinating subject. But the Rapture Index isn't flashing red, so what are YOU getting so excited about?

Enjoy your preparations.

I'll check the site later, but from what I actually looked at its laughable. Easily crafted words and phrases interpreted so they can fit modern times and the evils going on.

There's nothing remarkable about whatever you perceive is going on that you believe is "prophetic". Everybody down through history thought that every little child backtalking mom and dad was the end of the world, every major weather event, every major tsunami and earthquake. Please.

Because they're uninteresting superstitions written for naive folks.

Hey, that car the previous respondent mentions is a real sweetheart deal. I suggest you take him up on it. I'll sell you a bridge to drive it on.

You didn't learn a thing from the last question you asked. Science is fact.
History is fact.
Religion is false.
How much clearer can we make it? Why do you keep ignoring facts?

Because they are nonsense from a book I do not believe in.

Why do you choose to ignore the words of Margot Adler in "Drawing Down the Moon"?

Do you see the point?
