Odd it may seems but some relationship like this do works..
Try to give them the benefit of the doubt.

Not enough details, but I'll answer on the details you provided in your question.
Not only yes (is he nuts?) but hell yes !!
Unless they've been dating for a long time and he actually has a "real" relationship with this girl, online relationships do not count.
I'm all ok with the online dating scene to try and meet someone, but pictures on the internet do not truly display what the person is all about
Giving you my 3 cents

That's nuts, generally speaking, but I knew this girl who's parents got engaged the day after they met each other and 40 years later they're still happily married.

*ALARM*ALARM* PHYSCO ON THE LOOSE! That's a red flag right there. There might be a connection that they feel while on the computer but its way different in person. If he is proposing on the net and they have never met...what does that tell you?

awwwwwwwwwwww....thats so sweet! a little crazy tho. lol! but yea, they should meet first! and if anything he should definitely propose to her in person. at that point.... its JUST an engagement.... and those can last for years!.... before they actually get married.
i wish that happened to me
